Common questions
Can Australians buy property in Italy?
In general yes, there is no special restriction for Australian citizens buying residential property. Rules can differ by nationality and reciprocity, so always confirm your own situation with an Italian lawyer or notary.
Does buying a home give me a visa or residency?
No. Owning property in Italy does not by itself give you the right to live there. Visas and residency are a separate process.
Does it cost me anything?
No. Being introduced and receiving options is free. The purchase itself has the usual costs in Italy (taxes, notary and agency fees) and I'll point them out early.
Are you a real estate agent?
No. I introduce you to licensed Italian agencies. They handle the property side, and you should use an independent Italian lawyer or notary for the legal side.
Do you travel with me in Italy?
No. The service is entirely remote and run on Australian time.
